As soon as you open your eyes in the morning, you go into action (even if the action is to hit the snooze button and sleep for another ten minutes). You are engaging in actions in order to achieve results; brushing your teeth, meditating, making breakfast, going to work, practicing yoga, hanging out with friends, listening to your favorite band, the list goes on and on. You know what you want and you take action to make it happen. Quite simple. All these results happen in the future, and you fully know what amount of time, resources, and energy are needed to achieve these results.
You also know what is probable, what is predictable, and what is possible and impossible. Each one of us has grown, matured, learned, practiced, experienced things in their life that allowed for them to achieve bigger results as their life progressed; the Sami that is me now is not the Sami that was around 30 years ago. I am for sure thankful for who I was and I can look back at the path of my life and see how I was able to achieve more and more results as I grow; in my spiritual path, my relational path, my work, etc.
All this is good and if you are happy with your life and achievements you can stop here. Really, you are good and well on track. What I became interested in at one point is asking the question of the “impossible.” What makes something impossible to achieve? What will allow for a breakthrough when things seem stuck? As a Palestinian, living under military occupation, what makes it seem impossible that this occupation will end and we will be able to live in peace? What makes someone see something as possible and goes for it and others as impossible and not take any step to even try?
If this is something you also experienced then maybe the tools of nonlinear thinking are ones that can help you have a breakthrough, to achieve that which you perceive as being impossible; in your personal life and well-being, your family, organization, community, and nation.

“The Non-Linear leadership training with Sami is a fantastic course. Very thought provoking, creating new perspectives with transformational thinking!
Over the weeks in the course I experienced personal transformation as it challenged my assumptions, assessments and assertions and increased my awareness of my own perceptual lens. We also worked deeply on communication – how to listen more effectively, with more empathy, while considering other points of view other than just our own. As a leader, I’m always looking for new and different ways to improve my effectiveness. Sami’s course helped me tremendously, to better understand the full context and nuances of different situations, with myself and others in order to positively affect my organization and team members.”

“Having the opportunity to go through the Non-Linear training with Sami was transformational in my life. In just a short time I have encountered so many opportunities to use the tools that Sami gave us.
The training is not only about changing the way that you think about people or situations; it is about reframing the process in which we make decisions, have conversations, interact in relationship with others and with self.
Since completing the training, one of my closest relationships has been restored. Until recently, I was not able to overcome the barriers in my heart and mind to reconcile with this person. I used the tools that Sami so patiently walked us through to reframe my thought process and was able to reconcile with this person, and my life is richer because of it.
I am grateful to Sami for every element of this training and for his dedication to real life change through sharing his gifts with others.”
